ReStore Community Projects is a registered charity which recycles and reuses domestic furniture and appliances for the benefit of people in need.

Our key objectives are:

To provide good quality low cost furniture and appliances
To provide training and employment opportunities, in particular those who are or have been homeless or those with other social needs
To help the environment through the reuse and recycling and appliances

The Re-used Home Shop, 23nd - 30th of October

Where: 54 Tavistock Place, London NWIH 9RG Time: 10am-4:00pm Monday –Saturday ReStore will be operating a satellite retail/marketing centre at 54 Tavistock Place, WC1H from October 23nd -30th. ReStore will be showcasing the range of reuse furniture which is available at their main warehouse, as well as high lighting the training and volunteering opportunities available. Those wishing to learn more about donating unwanted furniture to ReStore, or using their services are invited to visit the shop from 10am – 4pm daily.

Visitors to the shop during this time will receive a 10% discount on any items they purchase from the Restore warehouse (to claim the discount, please print out and present this page from the Camden website) ReStore Community Projects is a registered charity which recycles and reuses domestic furniture and appliances for the benefit of people in need. As part of WYWW (Watch Your Waste Week), Camden’s Recycling Advisors will be on hand in the store during afternoon hours providing tips on waste minimisation and recycling.

On 23rd of October from 2:00-4:00pm and Saturday 24th of October from 10-4:00pm) Camden Recycling will be handing out free reusable bags to encourage customers to waste less. Customers visiting the lunch time stalls will be given free Tupperware containers to encourage less packaged lunches. Advisors will be telling customers how to ‘paint the town green’ by taking away free paint from Regis Road Recycling Centre. 07/10/09 GIVE OR TAKE DAY SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER, 2009

Border of Haringey, Enfield & Waltham Forest Come along to this Give and Take Day themed around bulky waste. So if you have anything you want to give away then bring it along, or if you are looking for something then come along to take something away. Furniture designer Ryan Frank will be volunteering his time on the day to run furniture restoration workshops and Forest Recycling will be providing reused paint for people to take away.

Where: Restore Community Projects, 18 Ashley Road, London N17 9LJ Time: Giving from 11.30 to 13.00 and taking from 13.00 to 14.00.
