ReStore have developed a range of partnerships with a variety of organisations across London. The innovative schemes which we have developed in conjunction with our partners ensure that a maximum amount of quality furniture is available for reuse by our clients. We work closely with local authorities, housing associations, small tenant managed estates, large waste companies and commercial move managers and are able to offer a reuse solution to each which is tailored to their specific needs. Whether it's multiple collections from residents, bulky estate collections, voids clearances or supplying appliances to a tenant in need, ReStore has the ability to provide a quality service with tangible social outcomes.

Each of our partnerships is innovative and sets a new model for how a local charity can work to the highest standards, providing a cost effective service and maintaining the ethos of helping local people in need and remaining in touch with its roots.

We look forward to continuing working with our key partners to develop innovative reuse solutions for London.
Veolia recently won the contract for waste collection and disposal in the London Borough of Haringey. ReStore are pleased to announce several initiatives in partnership with Veolia and LB Haringey. We currently operate a reuse bulky collection service, collecting reusable items from Haringey residents and selling those items in our retail warehouse. We look forward to announcing future projects in partnership with Veolia at the fruition of current discussions.

Haringey residents can contact the Haringey/Veolia call centre on 0208 885 7700 to arrange a reuse collection.

ReStore recently started working in collaboration with this off shoot of Premier Moves, one of the largest corporate move managers in the UK. Through Premier Sustain, items collected from corporate premises are being donated to a wide variety of charities, community groups and schools to ensure those hard pressed for resources are able to use quality items donated by Premier Sustain and their corporate partners. Many of ReStore’s clients have already benefitted from the excellent reuse items which Premier have donated to us.

We are very pleased and excited to announce our partnership with Ascham Homes and LB Waltham Forest to provide bulky voids clearance services for Ascham Homes’ properties vacated by tenants. ReStore carry out complete clearances of these properties, and either reuse unwanted furniture or recycle unusable items to recover materials for onward reuse. The service is now a permanent arrangement after a successful three month trial, and has led to increased reuse tonnage and increased employment at ReStore. Through this, we at ReStore have demonstrated the ability and capacity to carry out high volume, time driven quality solutions at competitive rates, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Ascham Homes.

Arden is a small Tenant managed Organisation in Shoreditch, East London. ReStore have been carrying out a full estate bulky clearance service since October 2010; visiting the estate twice a week we remove all items dumped on the estate and either reuse or recycle as much material as possible, with the residue being disposed of. We also provide a service where estate grass cuttings (up to 13 hippo bags a week during summer!) are delivered to an allotment association in Chingford for reuse as compost. We are pleased to be able to assist and support the residents of this estate in providing alternative disposal solutions.
We have carried out bulky reuse collections for LB Camden since 2008, and in that time have collected nearly 200 tons of reusable items from Camden residents and diverted from landfill for reuse by our clients. We have also carried out reuse voids clearances for LB Camden and this too has diverted many tons of reuse items from landfill. We now carry out twice weekly collections on Monday and Friday, with up to 16 collects per week.

Camden residents can contact the Camden call centre on 0207 974 6914 to arrange a reuse collection.

Since 2006 we have helped LB Enfield reuse nearly 3000 tons of furniture by carrying out collection services direct from Enfield residents properties. Our contract with Enfield pioneered our bulky reuse collection service, and enabled us to learn about the needs of domestic residents for reuse, and also enabled us to develop and refine our collection processes. We continually strive to learn these lessons and improve the service offered to partners, end users and customers alike. We now collect on behalf of LB Enfield on four mornings a week, carrying out up to 20 collects per week.

Enfield residents can contact the Enfield call centre on 0208 379 1000 to arrange a reuse collection.
